«Feed the senses»
A way to experience Asturias at a relaxed pace
Here at our accommodation, we'll accompany you to enjoy the experience.
There are trips that are organised with lists.
And others that start long before you arrive.
They start when you decide to slow down.
At The Mimosas del Nalón We believe that true rest cannot be forced. It appears when you make space to feel. That's why we are inspired by a simple idea born in Japan: Shinrin-yoku or “forest bathing”. A practice that doesn't involve doing more things, but rather being present and letting nature do its work.
Here, on the central coast of Asturias, something similar happens without needing to explain it too much.
The view rests alone amidst deep greens, the Nalón river and the sea's horizon.
- The ear is soothed by real sounds: birds, wind, water, and silence.
- The sense of smell awakens with eucalyptus, salt spray and freshly baked bread.
- The touch recalls the pleasure of wet grass, wood, and a blanket at dusk.
- Taste celebrates the simple and authentic essence of Asturias.
And then something else appears: intuition.
That sixth sense that can't be explained, but confirms this place feels like home.
Feeding the senses is not an activity.
It's a way of being.
You don't disconnect from the world here.
You reconnect with yourself.
