The river Nalón sounds low, the breeze smells of salt and, suddenly, you look up...
and you remember something we sometimes forget: we are small, yes, but we are alive.
This weekend of 20 to 22 March, in The Mimosas del Nalón, we invite you to live a different experience. A getaway with soul: rest, Asturias... and the sky as a protagonist.
🌞 Eclipse workshop + Solar observation (afternoon)
More than 120 years of the last total solar eclipse visible from Asturias.
And to prepare us for the one we will be able to see on 12 August 2026, We will share a close and exciting workshop where we will talk about:
✨ how eclipses occur
✨ safety recommendations for safe observation
✨ what conditions should a place meet to see the eclipse of 2026?
✨ the relevance of these phenomena throughout history
✨ how they alter the behaviour of different species
And the most impressive thing: we will combine it with a solar observation to identify spots and bumps on the surface of the Sun with specialised telescopes.

When night falls, the unforgettable begins.
A guided observation by the Astrophysics PhDs from Allande Stars, The constellations and their stories, as if each star has something to tell you.
