Proposed Activities

San Juan de la Arena

San Juan de la Arena: A stroll through its streets or the port is a delight for the senses. San Juan de la Arena was an important producer of canned fish.

Trench Route

A fantastic route through the mountains and ending at the beach. You will discover the best views of our environment and the trenches of the civil war.

San Esteban de Pravia

Right in front of us. One of the views that we fall in love with every day.

San Esteban de Pravia was an important industrial port that keeps vestiges (cranes and loading docks) as if it were an open-air museum. You can approach the bar and climb up to the Holy Spirit, with wonderful views and the beginning of the Coastal Path of the Viewpoints. It also has a beautiful saltwater pool.

Coastal Towns: West

We are in love with the SEA and the MOUNTAIN, so with capital letters because both concepts reach one of their highest levels in Asturias, dream villages and endless mountain ranges. But in this section we are going to talk about coastal villages, which we recommend when you come to visit us.

Perhaps the best known is Cudillero and the fame is deserved as a town turned to the sea, although those who knew him with the old port may miss that part, but Asturias is not only Cudillero and has plenty of villages that, for one reason or another, we recommend you visit:

Towards the west of Cudillero we have a predilection for Oviñana and the Vidío Lighthouse which is a must visit. Cadavedo and its prao de la Regalina. Busto and Faro Busto already in Valdés (and if you go on a Saturday afternoon do not forget to visit and taste the cakes of Cabo Busto)

More coastal towns:

Luarca, capital of the Council of Valdés, a must visit is its cemetery (Severo Ochoa is buried here) overlooking the sea and its Rio Negro, the port and its modernist style houses.

One of the villages for which we feel predilection: Puerto de Vega, an absolute marvel and a must for a walk through its streets and port.

To the west of Navia, we find in the Council of Coaña one of those places that we always recommend to visit the Lighthouse of San Agustín, an absolute marvel with breathtaking views.

In the Council of El Franco you can not miss Viavélez, a small fishing village with a beautiful port.

And Tapia de Casariego, which invites you to stroll and we recommend a very nice walk from the port to the beach of Anguleiro, through the Natural pool.
