And if you ask us what a perfect day in Asturias would be like for us, it would probably be something like this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A leisurely breakfast at Las Mimosas del Nal\u00f3n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The day starts slowly. As proper holidays should.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aroma of freshly brewed coffee, the sound of birds, the calm of the morning, and that feeling of not having to look at the clock. On the terrace, as the sun begins to filter through the trees, you understand that you've come here precisely for that: to slow down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Trail of the Viewpoints: Two Ways to Experience It<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One of our favourite plans is to walk the well-known Senda de los Miradores (Viewpoint Trail), a place where every bend seems to compel you to stop and admire the scenery a little longer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are two options for you, depending on how much you fancy climbing stairs that day \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plan A: start from the bottom and go up to the hermitage<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The perfect option for those who enjoy a leisurely stroll, breathing in the Cantabrian air and feeling the landscape gradually open up with each step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The climb is rewarding: incredible views, silence, and that feeling of having reached a special place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plan B: Park directly at the Mirador del Esp\u00edritu Santo<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Because holidays are also about listening to your body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you prefer a more relaxed plan, you can go directly to the viewpoint and still enjoy spectacular views without too much walking. Asturias can also be enjoyed like this: without any demands and at your own pace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dining by the sea at Casa Miguel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After a morning of trails and viewpoints, it's time to sit down for a meal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And there are few places we like to do it as much as Casa Miguel, on the beach of La Concha de Artedo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The afternoon continues to reveal some of those places that seem plucked from a postcard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First, a stroll through Cudillero. Get lost in its streets, climb and descend stairs, discover hidden viewpoints, and simply stop to observe the harbour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Afterwards, the route can continue towards Cape Vidio, where the sea crashes against the cliffs with a force impossible to explain in photographs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And if there's still daylight and the energy to keep exploring, Playa del Silencio is always worth a stop. There are places that don't need words to stay with you. This is one of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
