Starting and finishing always at home \ud83d\ude09 Las Mimosas del Nal\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is a&nbsp;<strong>route between eucalyptus forests and the beach of Los Quebrantos<\/strong>, The route takes us to the spectacular viewpoint of Ranon with views of San Juan de la Arena and Playa de los Quebrantos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/res.cloudinary.com\/amenitiz\/image\/upload\/c_fill,q_90,w_1100\/v1714151544\/h7wvlzv9t8srvp0bsrko.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>We recommend the route with 2 options:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Option 1<\/strong>: departure on foot from our accommodation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As you go up the road, at 200m, after the first bend you enter the eucalyptus forest path (you must go past the red house and you will find the path, uphill). There is a steep but manageable ramp that takes you directly to the trenches. You can't miss it. &nbsp;<strong>They are trenches from the Spanish Civil War.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After seeing the trenches, you can imagine how they got there for months, you can enjoy the views from the viewpoint. Spectacular views of the village of San Juan de la Arena and the beach. When the war began, the Republicans surrounded the capital, Oviedo, to prevent the rebels from joining forces with the Galician Columns which, in September 1936, had already taken the council of Pravia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Nal\u00f3n Front defended the Pasillo de Grado (Historical Area of the Nal\u00f3n Front). On the coast, next to the black mouth of the river, the Avil\u00e9s Front did so. The Republicans fought for fifteen months to prevent Franco's army from controlling the whole territory.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All that remains of this terrible - and regrettable - chapter in Spain's history is the memory of our elders and the scene of their experiences. Es una&nbsp;ruta entre bosques de eucaliptos y la playa de los Quebrantos, que nos da paso por el mirador espectacular de Ranon con vistas a San Juan de la Arena y la Playa de los Quebrantos. La ruta te la recomendamos con 2 opciones: Opci\u00f3n 1: salida andando desde nuestro alojamiento Subiendo por la carretera, a 200 m, tras pasar la primera curva entras en la senda del bosque de eucaliptos (debes pasar la casa roja y encuentras el sendero, cuesta arriba). Tienes una rampa empinada, llevadera, que te lleva directo a las trincheras. No tiene perdida. &nbsp;Son trincheras de la Guerra Civil Espa\u00f1ola. Tras ver las trincheras, puedes imaginar como llegaron durante meses, puedes disfrutar de las vistas del mirador. Las vistas espectaculares del pueblo de San Juan de la Arena y la playa. Desde el mirador, puedes elegir el bajar a la playa, a la que accedes por un sendero, algunos tramos es recomendable bajar con cuidado, y llegaras al cementerio de San Juan de la Arena, seguidamente a la playa y cuando lo desees, vuelta a casa por la subida de La Calea. Opci\u00f3n 2: Subes en coche hasta Ranon Subes en coche hasta Ranon, dej\u00e1ndolo en la zona de la Iglesia, desde d\u00f3nde comienzas la ruta a pie, pasando por casas t\u00edpicas Indianas y&nbsp; adornadas con las famosas Hortensias de Asturias, camino de colores azules y rosas te hacen un paseo muy agradable hac\u00eda las trincheras.&nbsp; Desde el mirador, puedes decidir bajar a la playa o continuar la senda retornando a Ranon, sobre todo si has subido en coche \ud83d\ude09 Estoy seguro de que te sorprender\u00e1n las vistas, el paisaje y la aventura por los bosques de eucaliptos. Un abrazo, Carlos Informaci\u00f3n complementaria sobre las trincheras \u00abEn esta zona de Asturias la divisoria entre sublevados y republicanos la marc\u00f3 el r\u00edo Nal\u00f3n. Cuando se inici\u00f3 la guerra, los republicanos cercaron la capital, Oviedo, para impedir que los sublevados unieran sus fuerzas con las Columnas Gallegas que, en septiembre de 1936, ya hab\u00edan tomado el concejo de Pravia. El Frente del Nal\u00f3n defendi\u00f3 el Pasillo de Grado (Espacio Hist\u00f3rico Frente del Nal\u00f3n). En la costa, junto a la negra desembocadura del r\u00edo, lo hizo el Frente de Avil\u00e9s. Los republicanos lucharon durante quince meses para evitar que el Ej\u00e9rcito de Franco controlara todo el territorio.&nbsp; De este terrible -y lamentable- cap\u00edtulo de la historia de Espa\u00f1a solo nos queda la memoria de nuestros mayores y el escenario de sus vivencias.
